HOT AIR BALLOON TRIP OVER CAPPADOCIA – 80 to 90 minutes tour
One of the most popular excursions by far is seeing Cappadocia from a hot air balloon. You will enjoy wonderful memories if you decide to take this excursion. Witness the amazing scenery from a bird’s eye view as you fly over the valleys as you take off at sunrise and see the amazing colours of the area. All other forms of flying in this region are forbidden, so it is the only way to discover Cappadocia from the skies.
BLUE CAPPADOCIA TOUR – Full day tour (included in package price)
You will be collected from your accommodation at 09.30 by your tour guide in an air conditioned mini bus to begin the tour. Firstly you will be taken to the Devrent Imagination Valley where you can walk through this lunar like landscape and see the rock formations close up. Next you will be taken to the fairy chimneys before travelling on to Avanos, where you will see a pottery demonstration using the Hittite method. Lunch, of traditional Turkish cuisine, will be at a cave restaurant or opposite the castle of Ortahasir. The next stop will be the Uçhisar Castle to enjoy the breath taking views, before moving on to Esentepe for views of the Goreme Valley. Finally you will visit the Goreme Museum before being returned to your accommodation at approximately 17.30. All guide fees, admission fees and lunch are included in the package price.
RED CAPPADOCIA TOUR – Full day tour (included in package price)
This tour is a similar format to the tour included in the package price however this one takes in different areas of the region. Visit Derinkuyu underground city, the Ihlara Canyon and Belisirma village with lunch included.
GREEN CAPPADOCIA TOUR – Full day tour (included in package price)
Another tour in the same format as the tour included in the package price. This is a full day tour, with lunch included, visiting other areas of the region. During the day you will see and old Greek village, mosaic houses as well as the Kaymakli underground city.
WHIRLING DERVISH NIGHT – Evening tour – (included in package price)
This evening trip is not to be missed! You will be collected from your accommodation and taken to a 13th century caravansaray where the evening’s entertainment is held. The evening includes an hour long display of the Whirling Dervish ceremony making it a very special night in a special location. After the evening is over you will be returned to your hotel.
